Kirkpatrick led renovations to the existing structure, which was designed in 1964 by Modernist architect Howard R. Meyer. The project included upgrading finishes, re-carpeting and painting the Sanctuary, relocating the office and nursery, adding three classrooms, ADA compliant restrooms, a kitchenette and an enclosed garden court with a rock fountain, all while maintaining the integrity and character of the original building.
