Teatro Jose Nieto Pina

The acoustics in the theater were so precise that at the
inaugural event, the conductor of the orchestra addressed the
audience without the necessity of a microphone.
Design and construction of a new 20,700 square foot, 540 seat
theatre for the Universidad de Celaya, in central Mexico. The design
responded to the local cultural and regional influences by the use
of color, light, materials, and forms and methods of construction.
Local artisans were involved to design, fabricate and install
building detail elements, such as tiled bovidas, light screens,
ceramic light fixtures, decorative tile, fountain and sculptures and
proscenium decorative relief.
