John Wendt

Contribution. Curiosity. Creation. John’s determination to learn every aspect of the architecture profession makes him a valuable jack-of-all-trades.

John has always enjoyed working with his hands and figuring out how things operate. He also has an affinity for art, so after taking CAD classes in high school, he found architecture school was the next obvious step in his education. As an architectural intern with Kirkpatrick Architecture Studio, working towards his license, John contributes to all types of projects in all kinds of phases, from programming to construction administration. He always looks forward to the opportunity to do hands-on model construction when an assignment calls for it. When he’s not at work, John enjoys “restomodding” his 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air station wagon, mountain biking, camping, playing cornhole, visiting car shows, watching TV, and playing computer games.
