Richard’s incredibly diverse architecture background plus his easygoing and friendly nature makes it seem like he’s always been part of the Kirkpatrick Architecture Studio team. He began his career in higher-education design on staff at Texas Christian University before moving to the private sector, where he worked on religious, hospitality, office, and warehouse projects. Richard’s experience extends beyond the Lone Star State’s borders and includes a variety of community college projects in northeastern Tennessee. Since joining KAS, Richard has contributed to financial, public safety, and higher-education undertakings, in addition to supporting the firm through marketing efforts and his team-positive attitude. When he’s not at the office offering a helping hand and a smile, Richard enjoys spending time with his family or woodworking, shooting, golfing, or antiquing.
