Lewisville Facilities and Fleet Maintenance | Texas

This new building will provide two departments, once crowded together in an outdated building, with better storage options as well as ample room to operate and grow.

The new 14-bay Lewisville Facilities and Fleet Maintenance Facility will be a vital addition to crucial City services. Kirkpatrick Architecture Studio designed this state-of-the-art building with a fuel island, a wash bay, and multiple fabrication shops, as well as storage for tires and oil change supplies. Employees will have a break room and a full locker room with showers. KAS created a modern conference room with seating for up to 25, plus a set of administrative offices located at the front of the building. The new site presents the challenge of being within six to eight feet of a drainage pond, but KAS is working with the City to find creative drainage and retaining wall solutions. Construction is slated to begin in June 2021 with a projected completion date of late 2022.
